I. Wipro Limited (“we” or “us”) respects and is committed to the protection of your sensitive and personal information and your privacy. This Personal Data Protection Notice (“Notice”), prepared in accordance with applicable data protection laws explains how Wipro processes your personal data for the purpose of mySpace application. This Notice supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consent(s) you may have previously provided to us in respect to your personal data.
II. IDENTITY OF THE Entity collecting the personal data: Wipro Limited acting on behalf of itself and it affiliates in India. mySpace application is meant for use by employees-based in India Geography and is accordingly governed by the data privacy rules as applicable.
III. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of this Notice:
a. “Affiliates” means Wipro Limited and/or related companies, including their related companies.
b. “Partner(s)” means customer(s), vendor(s), authorized service partner(s) and/or business
partner(s).
c. “Personal data” shall mean data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from
that data, or from that data and other information to which the organization has or is likely to have
access.
d. “Processing” means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether
or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation or
alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making
available, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure or destruction.
All further data protection relevant terms depend on definitions provided under applicable data
protection laws. The terms defined above are also subject to these definitions.
IV. What PERSONAL DATA Do We PROCESS?
In order for us to ensure mySpace, the following categories of personal data are processed: Employee system generated ID (ADID), Employee Name
V. PROCESSING PURPOSE(S)
Wipro’s mySpace is an organizational workspace management system in which seats are used by different people at different times, on an ad hoc basis. Employee will be able to declare seat occupancy using Check-In functionality once he/she occupies the seat. Employee will be able to extend timing even after expiry of seat booking time.
Employee system generated ID (ADID) integration - Your ADID will be used for your identification as a Wipro employee and to give you access to login into the application. Your ADID data will not otherwise be displayed at any reports and dashboards or on screen for any purpose.
VI. RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
a) Usage & Sharing: - Your personal data, including sensitive personal will be shared only with certain
Wipro employees who have a legitimate business need & and are authorized to access such data in
connection with the above stated purpose(s).
b) Categories of recipients internal to Wipro: FMG team, internal audit team and Compliance teams.
c) Categories of recipients external to Wipro: Not applicable
d) Disclosure of your personal data: In addition to the above, your personal data may be disclosed where
required by applicable legislation, rule of law or the order of a court of law.
VII. DATA RETENTION
Your personal data will be retained by Wipro only as long as is necessary for which it was collected in mySpace e and for a reasonable period thereafter, in accordance with applicable law and internal policies. Personal data no longer required will be disposed of promptly and in a secured manner.
VIII. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Appropriate measures are taken to prevent unauthorized access, unlawful processing, unauthorized or accidental loss or destruction of the personal data We shall keep and process your data in a secure manner. We endeavour, where practicable, to implement the appropriate administrative and security safeguards and procedures in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations to prevent the unauthorized or unlawful processing of your Personal Data and the accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, your Personal Data.
